What is The L-Effect?

My true love is art and creation…

Very early I found a way to explore my dreams, thoughts, fears and loves with a stroke of a brush or the movement of a pen. I put everything I am into my work, loosing myself in the flow of my words or the movement of my colors. Discovering with passion expressed is passion found.

In my work I create the moments that I encounter. Either in real life, inside a dream or a just a feeling; but in that single moment I can create a thousand more for someone else. I only attempt to give a vision of life by breaking down life to its basic visual essence. I tell a story by a capturing a part of life that the camera can not see.

I consider a painting complete when a feeling or a thought I am trying to express comes through without saying a word. Often this process leaves me naked and feeling exceptionally vulnerable. If somebody, while looking or reading my artwork gets a special feeling or memory of something personal, I'm happy. It makes it all worth it.

In-between life and fantasy, In-between what is and what are not, there is a new realm. A domain of new life, I simply apply what is given by God to bring it all into this world. This in its simplest form is my art, giving a visual voice to The Soul.

This is my soul in flowing color and shadow, moving about, twisting around in peaceful/poetic chaos.
